“ DEC 2024 Came here for late dinner and tried a number of dishes. Ordering is via QR code and wifi is available if you don't have internet. The fried chicken wings were partially deboned so it was easy to eat; skin was nice and crispy. The yakitori were grilled to perfection with a tasty charcoal aroma; favorite was the negima with the tare sauce. Also had the gyoza and grilled onigiri which were pretty good. Overall the price was good for the taste, and the staffs were friendly and helpful. ”

“ Got the late night munchies so my partner and I started walking around the neighborhood. Smelled something super delicious. Took a peak and we saw people grilling skewers over charcoal. Had to try it. Super friendly staff invited us in and gave us an English menu. Ordered through the app and it came out super quick but spaced out just right. We ordered some dishes twice because they were so good. Highly recommend coming here!!! ”

“ After a long day, we were looking for a local place to eat. I saw this as one option very close to the Kyoto station and wanted to give it a shot. The staff is super friendly, they speak very little English but that is no problem at all! Ordering is done on the app via a QR Code and all the options are very good. I have a shellfish allergy and was concerned about eating locally, all menu items had a detailed list of what is included. I highly recommend this place, especially to anyone traveling through the area! ”

“ We were there after thinking we haven't try yakitori in the area that we stay, and came across this store. At the entrance they immediately tell us to sit upstairs. Eventhough there are seating for 4 of us at the bar right in front of where they grilling stuff. After sitting quite a while and paying attention around us, we realize that all the customers were foreigners and on the first floor are all Japanese. I don't know why if these arrangements were intentional. The food were not that great, it's okay. Side dish also not that great, like the quail eggs, the steam eggs. We love the fried wings. The staff was not friendly. There were cover charge 350¥ per person and you HAVE TO ORDER DRINK, 1 PER PERSON. We spent about over 10k ¥. For that price we are expecting great food and services but in general we would say "ITS NOT WORTH IT". ”

“ Chanced upon this izakaya after we were rejected by a famous yakitori spot that was “fully booked” (though we were early and there was no other customer then). Staff here were not as fluent in English but there is english translation in QR menu so ordering was easy. There is the common cover charge for japanese izakayas and 350 yen was lower than what we experienced elsewhere. Happy with the food - as others have recommended, fried chicken was awesome! We love the grilled rice and chicken skewers too. Those familiar with Asian food may find the mapo tofu and gyozas average. Would recommend over the so-called famous restaurants! ”

“ Brilliant small Izakaya located just north of Kyoto station. It’s a bit of a walk there but it’s definitely worth the bar food. Amazing service and there is a QR code for English menu, so you can view what you order. There is a mandatory charge of 350 yen and each person must order at least 1 drink. ”
